These grilled turkey burgers are perfectly seasoned and a great foundation for a solid burger and satisfying meal. We used super versatile Brisket Mop BBQ Sauce to season the ground turkey alongside chopped onion and spicy cayenne pepper before forming patties. Then, it’s as easy as throwing the turkey burgers on the grill and cooking to a juicy perfection. These burgers are simple enough to go along with whatever toppings you’d like. But it's also loaded with so much flavor it’s delicious with the most basic toppings or none at all! Melty cheese, juicy tomatoes, and crunchy lettuce are a couple great options to add to your tender and delicious burger.
Most people opt for turkey burgers as an alternative to beef. But if you’ve struggled to craft a moist

and tasty turkey burger, look no further! This recipe ensures the ground turkey stays moist, (more like beef) thanks to Brisket Mop BBQ Sauce. The sauce also brings a nice savory flavor to the meat with little need or other seasonings or complicated additions!
Simply mix it in and you’re good to go. Be sure not to over mix the turkey, though, or the meat will get tough. And if you prefer things extra spicy, bump up the amount of cayenne pepper— Some red pepper flakes would add a good amount of heat, too. Since you've got the grill fired up anyway, we suggest whipping up a batch of Gouda & Cheddar Smoked Potatoes and you’ll be on your way to a satisfying lunch or dinner.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 8 minutes
Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
2 tablespoon Brisket Mop BBQ Mud Sauce
½ cup white onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
4 slices white cheddar cheese
For serving: 4 burger buns, 4 tomato slices, 4 leaves Romaine lettuce, etc.
Directions
Grease grill plates and preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
In a large bowl, add the ground turkey, Brisket Mop BBQ Mud Sauce, diced onion, minced garlic, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to combine.

Using your hands, shape four individual medium patties from the ground turkey mixture.
Place patties on the grill and let cook for approximately 4 minutes, then flip. Place a slice of cheese (we like white cheddar) on each patty and continue cooking for an additional 4 minutes or until completely cooked through and cheese is melted.
Assemble burgers on buns with desired toppings such as tomato slices and lettuce.
