Is Prime Dust the Same as Prime Injection?

No, Prime Dust is the just beef flavoring in the Prime Injection. Prime Injection is designed to be used for injecting.

How long do I need to wait before cooking after injecting my meat?

we recommend a minimum of 4 hours, but you can go 8 to 10 hours without any harm.

What is the difference in Phosphate and Phosphate TR?

The TR stands for tenderizer. We have added this to assist with lesser quality cuts of meats.

How do you recommend storing BBQ rubs?

Accepted Answer

We feel once you have opened the canister and you want to keep it as fresh as the first time you used it, place a piece of wax paper under the lid and tighten down onto the bottle getting a nice seal. Some people like to store it in the freezer, we are not a fan of this because when you pull the bottle out it will draw moisture and start to clump up.

How do you recommend mixing the different injections?

In competition or at the house I follow the bottle directions exactly. For the beef and pork injections 3/4 cup injection to 16 ounces of liquid and for the Bird Booster 1/4 cup injection to 16 ounces of liquid.
