Flavor-filled Homestyle Sweet BBQ Sauce is the star of the show in this simply marinated and grilled cod recipe. The sweet and savory sauce keeps the cod filets moist: Allow the cod to sit in the BBQ sauce for at least 20 minutes to allow the fish to absorb the flavors. Then, make sure to pat the fillets to dry with paper towels before placing it on the hot grill. This will yield grill marks and the char that adds incredible flavor to each bite! If you’re looking for a lighter and healthier meal, these BBQ grilled cod filets will surely do the trick. Though there are many ways to add variety to this dish, this is a straightforward way to enjoy a flavorful and protein-packed meal.

Only two ingredients are needed to craft these deliciously tender grilled cod fillets. Butcher BBQ’s Homestyle Sweet BBQ Sauce is just enough to perfectly season the fish. It’s also basic enough to make with the kids and easy to eat for a family-friendly dinner. Try it on any night of the week for a quick and easy meal. You can even prepare it ahead of time and leave the cod fillets to marinate in the refrigerator overnight. Once you get cooking, few will be able to turn down this flaky and tender BBQ cod! Just be sure to smother the filets with a good heap of extra Homestyle Sweet BBQ Sauce for maximum seasoned perfection. Simply serve the cod alongside a side salad for a refreshing and light lunch.
