Grilled ribeye steaks are easy to make and simply delicious when made with Butcher BBQ Steak & Brisket Rub. This Simple Grilled Ribeye is quick to grill up and one of the most tender cuts to enjoy with these seasonings. A good amount of rosemary garlic butter pulls things together and adds an extra level of succulent flavor. Salt and pepper steaks are certainly a thing of the past now.
The Steak & Brisket Rub brings out the natural tasty flavors of a simple grilled steak without any extra work, too. A base of garlic, onion, and lemon have long been solid seasonings for brisket and steaks like a good ribeye. These aspects of the Steak & Brisket Rub come through perfectly— Especially when complemented by a pat of garlic in the rosemary garlic butter right on top. You don’t need much more for an ideal dinner!

That being said, we do recommend pairing this Simple Grilled Ribeye with Steak & Brisket Rub and Rosemary Garlic Butter with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. Try whatever is local and seasonal, like broccoli or asparagus. Mix up a green side salad with Italian vinaigrette for a complete and satisfying dinner. Tender and juicy, the resulting homemade meal is perfect for almost any family. With a short prep time and few ingredients, it can quickly become your next favorite weeknight meal. Just make sure to let the steak sit before and after cooking and to preheat your grill. And depending on how well you like your steak cooked and how thick the cut is, you can adjust the timing accordingly. It doesn’t get much easier than that!

Ingredients - makes 1
1 10oz Ribeye steak
½ tbsp Steak & Brisket Rub
Rosemary Garlic Butter
1 stick butter, room temperature
1 sprig rosemary, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
Directions
Remove the steak from the fridge while you make the herb butter.
Make the herb butter by combining the butter, rosemary, and garlic in a bowl and mixing until well combined.
Roll the mixture onto a large piece of plastic wrap and fold the top over to roll into a log. Twist the ends to close and place in the fridge to set.
Make the steak by seasoning the ribeye with the steak and brisket rub.
Preheat the grill to 450 degrees and grill for 2-3 minutes per side for medium rare. Depending on how thick the steak is, you may have to grill for more or less time per side.
Remove the steak from the grill and let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Serve with a slice of the rosemary garlic butter on top.
