Who knew that sweet cherry goes so well with savory seasonings and tender meat? Grilled & Smoked Chery Beef Kabobs are a great way to enjoy the delicious flavor of the fruit using Butcher BBQ’s Wild Cherry Rub & Seasoning and Smoke Tube. Fresh chopped bell pepper and onion complete the kabob and add a nice crunch to tender and juicy sirloin. Along with natural cherry powder and sugar, savory ingredients and spices like garlic, onion, and black pepper season the meat without any extra mix-ins. Simply allow cubed sirloin to sit with your favorite oil and Wild Cherry Rub & Seasoning to marinate for at least 20 minutes. Smoky wood flavor from the Smoke Tube will help bring these flavors together on the grill, too.

These Grilled & Smoked Cherry Beef Kabobs are super versatile and easy to assemble. You can use as much or as little bell pepper and onion as you want. Use any color of bell pepper and skewer the vegetables and meat in any order! The simple combination of juicy grilled meat and vegetables are the perfect base for a tasty and nutritious dinner. Just serve up some grilled potatoes or a simply sauced pasta for a complete meal.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Rest Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 6-8 minutes
Ingredients and Equipment
Wood chips or pellets of choice
1 pound sirloin, cubed
2 tablespoons neutral cooking oil (such as avocado oil)
3 tablespoons Wild Cherry Seasoning
2 medium bell peppers, jumbo chopped
½ medium white onion, quartered and thickly sliced

Directions: Place cubed sirloin into a medium shallow bowl and drizzle with oil. Toss to coat each piece evenly.
Sprinkle with Wild Cherry Seasoning and toss again to coat each piece with seasoning. Allow to marinate for approximately 20-30 minutes.
After the meat is marinated, preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
While the grill is preheating, assemble kabobs by threading the beef and vegetables on each skewer evenly: Skewer the bell pepper, the onion, the cubed sirloin, and repeat. You can do this in any order or combination that you’d like. Drizzle any leftover marinade over the kabobs.
Prepare your smoke tube: Fill Smoke Tube with wood chips or pellets of choice, leaving about an inch of space at the top. Using a torch, light the wood in the tube and place on the grill. Place Smoke Tube on the grill. For more directions on how to use the Smoke Tube, watch an informative video here.
Place the kabobs on the preheated grill. Grill for 2-3 minutes then rotate the kabobs, cooking each side for 2-3 minute.
